A curious breed of people lives in the Roma neighborhood in Kyustendil. Watching, the film follows the events in the life of four such persons for a period of one year. One part of the neighborhood is urbanized, another part is the ghetto, while the square with shops and cafes are in the middle. There are comical contrasts and inevitable similarities between them.
Nina Pehlivanova graduated in 2010 from Film Directing at New Bulgarian University (NBU). Since 2009, she has been working as second assistant-director in various Bulgarian feature films. She worked several years in the Guests Department at the International Sofia Film Festival. She undertook training and fulfillment as producer of documentary films.
Petya Nakova finished the Master’s Programme of the Technical University in Sofia, majoring as machine engineer. In 2010, she graduated from Film Directing at New Bulgarian University (NBU). She worked as scriptwriter for a talk show on the subject of human rights and freedoms and as second assistant-director in a TV series. She is a freelance author, writing primarily for websites.
