Exploit Shale Gas: the Controversy

The Millenium Festival offered the screening of a film followed by a debate on a burning issue : exploiting shale gas in Europe. What are the political, economical and environmental stakes? To provide some answer, Catherine Boyle’s film The Fracturing of Public Opinion: Bulgaria’s Fracking Controversy was screened at Civa on May 27, followed by a debate between specialized participants and the general public.
