The festival wants to give the opportunity for the young people to discover documentary cinema, debate and develop their critical mind.

The 6th edition of the Millenium Festival ended in style on Friday 11th of April! During 10 days, 60 screenings, 40 guests and 50 documentaries that deal with the big issues of our time were programmed at the festival.

The announcement of the awards was followed by the screening of Life Sentences, by Nurit Kedar and Yaron Shani, winner of the Objectif d'or, grand award of the festival, but also of the Audience Award.

After the deliberation, the jury decided to award 6 films instead of 4, creating a Special Mention of the Jury that they attributed to Nowhere to Call Home by Jocelyn Ford and awarding two documentaries ex-aequo for the Special Award of the Jury : Midsummer Night's Tango by Vivian Blumenschein and Gangster of Love by Nebojsa Slijepcevic.

 

The CSC Award, that rewards the best film in the "World's Workers" Competition was, attributed to Il pane a vita by Stefano Collizzolli.

 

The Young Jur, Armadillo by Janus Metz was the big winner.
