The 2013 selection is done! From the more than 500 films we received, we programmed for the first time more than 100 movies that will be screened at the festival and related events.
These are movies from more than 50 countries, which shows the fast development of documentary cinema to face issues related to the MDGs. For this 5th edition, the program will spread in all direction mixing the roots of documentary cinema to the newest films. There will be intriguing panoramas, original retrospectives and special events organised with other festivals and cultural associations in Europe.
The topics and themes of the program will now start to be unveiled little by little.
The actual program grid of the festival is published in the beginning of May.
A special attention is cast on your opinion on the work of the filmmakers and brought us to create 3 juries composed by members of the public.
Calls will be made very soon for these juries.
This initiative has already started by the "Jury of the Youth" who have already met on March,30 to watch their first film "White Black Boy" . They will watch 6 more films until the closing ceremony where they will give a special award.
